Corbu is a small sheet music publisher where a personal approach is of importance. The publishing house was founded in January 2018 by Mihai Scarlat and Marlies de Roos-Linden and aims to share the special music of the Romanian Folklore with the world. Through the Mihai arrangements, Corbu offers a variety of timbres and styles. In this way the true beauty and complexity of this music will be shown.

Corbu offers, in addition to music for the more famous instruments, also music for lesser known (folklore) instruments such as Panflute and Taragot.

The pieces in Corbu’s books have been frequently performed on stage by various performing musicians, including Mihai and Marlies themselves. From this experience the music is noted and published. This makes the music of Corbu extremely suitable for use during concerts and in teaching practices.
